Got one and I am enjoying using it. It would make a great platform for controlling Powerhome (hint hint)!

I got one too. For $200 why not. Powerhome integration will be tough. Dash apps are Adobe Flash ActionScript 2.0 and they have to be uploaded to Sony/Chumby's servers to be streamed. It is truly an internet appliance. Release kept getting pushed back, and the USB port isn't usable yet... Home automation wasn't Sony's target although I think touch screen and dimensions are perfect. Underneath is Linux and it's only been out a week. Hopefully someone will "hack" it so we can use local apps and LAN. So I have not lost all hope yet.

Best Buy just released a similar device.

I'd love to see something like this that I could access my Powerhome control center or at the very least the web access from.

I have the original Chumby for a while now. When it came
out I contacted Chumby to see whether we could somehow
access PH. But as Lenny says, it's flash and PH doesn't
speak flash. So no go, at least at that time. But if
someone does get it to work, what a great price point for a
touch screen in each room.
