I'm running 2.1b. My motion sensor stopped working, so I hard-reset it, and now I need to relink it. So I went into Insteon Explorer -> links tab, selected the sensor and clicked on Rebuild. Nothing happens. I trying changing a group value, changed it back, and clicked SAVE. Nothing happened either. My outside lights all run off the motion sensor. what am I doing wrong?
you can see my screens at
http://www.kwcpa.com/screen.pdf (motion sensor)
http://www.kwcpa.com/screen2.pdf (powerlinc)
note the "unknowns" on the 2nd screen - that should be the motion sensor.
I was able to clear and reload the powerlinc, and then REBUILD the powerlinc in the same links window, but nothing changed, and attempts to REBUILD the motion sensor still fail.
not sure what to try next - shouldn't rebuild work?
thanks!

The Smarthome Motion Sensor does not support the Peek/Poke commands normally used to read/write a device link database.

Ok Lee -so what does that mean to me? PH database was correct all along, and Motion Sensor suddenly "woke up"? Or was there something I did/could do that fixed it?
Thanks!

I don’t think the PH database has much control over the linking of the motion detector. But I have found the PLM/PLC does and that might have been what got restored.
