I was just wondering if anybody is running PowerHome on a low power PC such as an Eee Box? I have started replacing my 24/7 PCs burnig 140 Watts plus with these Eee Boxes that tick along at around 16 watts and so far I have been surprised at how well they perform. I wonder if one of these would make a good platform for running a 24/7 PowerHome server?

Yah Tony, but for $60 more I got PH on a widescreen Toshiba laptop never mind the speed and capacity. Now if you’re interested in the Green then that’s another thing.

Mike,

It should work without a problem. Ive played with running PowerHome on an eeePC (900 mhz celeron) and it ran fine. Voice Recognition may be overdoing it, but TTS seemed to work fine as well. I think the eee box has similar specs but a real hard drive rather than an SSD.

Dave.
