Does PH support the SwitchLinc timers? I have several of these and they show up correctly in PH2 but I'm not certain how I control them since on leaves them on rather than trigger the built in 15 minute timer. I suppose I would like to put a motion sensor in the garage that turns on the entryway SwitchLinc timer for 15 minutes then goes off as normal.

According to the documentation on the Smarthome site, the 15 minute timer function cannot be accessed from another Insteon device. From the SwitchLinc Timer doc ...
Note: When you use another INSTEON device to control the switch or use the SwitchLinc Timer to control another INSTEON device, the timer function does not apply. It will act like a standard INSTEON SwitchLinc Relay (Non-Dimming).
You can trigger a Macro with the motion sensor, turn on the desired light, have 15 minute Wait in the macro, then turn off the light.

So, do you mean an X10 motion sensor or does Insteon have one now that you would recommend? The problem, of course, with that is that you have this gigantic 'eye' that you have to install along with your switch :(.

I was not suggesting a motion sensor; I took that reference from your first post that said you were going to use a motion sensor to turn on a light. The macro suggestion was an alternative to the SwitchLinc Timer to give you a 15 minute delayed turn off. If you want to use an Insteon switch rather than a motion sensor, the result would be the same. Either the switch or the motion sensor triggers a macro that has a 15 minute delayed off. I would not recommend X10. I had X10 installed for several years and was never successful in gaining a reliable environment. I have found Insteon to be much more reliable.
A third alternative would be a wireless Dakota Alert PIR motion sensor. Simplehomenet has an EZSnsRF device that receives Dakota Alert RF signals and issues Insteon ON/OFF commands in response. The EZSnsRF has built in Timers that can be set to delay the Insteon OFF commands from about 30 seconds to 15 minutes.
The Smarthome Insteon PIR motion sensor availability has been delayed, twice I think, and there is a post from someone who recently received an email stating "the product is temporarily out of stock, "Pending Manufacturer Feedback." Smarthome shows 10/31/2008 as expected in stock date but we were only a few days from the previous target date when it was moved to 10/31/2008.
