hey Guys,
I have been playing around with RFID for a while now. I found a kit with PCB and Housing and Front and Antenna ready for soldering. A relay is being used and in turn the relay is connected to an SM10 (X10 PL-transmitter).
A trigger calls a macro and in turn opens the shutters and opens the frontdoor. A photo of the first expiriment is here..
it all works very well... what's next is implemting this into my home...

Cool! Is that a short-range (1/3 meter or less) version?

Here's another one that is being discussed. Only $39 to boot and 8M range (up to 14 with different antenna)!

it is the short range version, total cost is about $45,- and includes Power-Supply, housing and 2 tags. Addional tags can be ordered at a cost of about $4,-
The first Tag is the "Master-Tag"
The Master-Tag is used to add or delete Tags from the Non-Volitile Memory, a button on the housing has more functions:
- delete audio
- learning other foreign tags
My daughter is already using it with great pleasure...

Another update:
here is the trigger used:
Code:
case([X10STATK4] when 2 then ph_macro("shutters down") else ph_macro("shutters OPEN"))
|
|
|
however One question:
what is the function of an addressed trigger?
Trigger has to fire on:
Housecode D
Unitcode 1
off and on!
(do i fill in the boolean field the unitcode?)
The code above makes sure that when shutters are up, the down macro is run and the other way around?
