I have over 50 Insteon devices in my home, and I am looking for a link management software. I'm sure these questions have been answered many times, so if it is easier, just point me in the right direction and I will look for the answers.

Is there a free trial?

Will Powerhome automatically discover all of my installed Insteon devices, or will I need to manually add them?

Will it discover my existing links?

Will my links remain intact evenif my computer if off?

Thanks

30 Days

Sort of, You can spider to find links or hit the set buttons on each device.

Once each device is found it will find all of the links.

I only use powerhone to add, change, modify Insteon links. It works well.

Support here is excellent!

The links are still stored in each devices, as required by Insteon. It creates it's own database copy of all these links. One of the greatest advantages of this is when you have a device lockup and have to do a factory reset (which clears it completely) or you replace a device. PH will handle recreating all the links automatically for you. It's a great time saver!

A bit off-topic, but maybe this helps (and keeps me from re-typing).
