I seem to be having a strange problem with version 10 - When I launch Powerhome, the Insteon Exporer screen shows Maximum failures as 0 and the Scan Interval as 0 - When I make a change in the Insteon configuration such as maximum failures or scan interval ans click save to PLC Scanning starts, but when I exit Powerhome and restart the changes are set back to 0 - Also I see nothing the Insteon window (no communications) when I click on devices, then control a device I see the device status, the device scans start working etc - But until I do this everything is blank - No PLC response - Nothing...

Any ideas? I tried reinstalling from scratch but I have the same problems

I reinstalled Windows XP figuring maybe it was a problem with the OS, but I still have the same exact problem - Did the executable for the download maybe change recently?   I have a laptop that I installed Powerhome on a while back and thats working fine -

But on my newly installed PC the settings will not save.. very Odd.....

Exact same issue I'm having. I reported this at
http://www.myx10.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1257&PN=1

No fix yet that I'm aware of.

This is due to some missing entries in the database concerning your Insteon controller. You should be able to fix this by going to the PowerHome Explorer under PowerHome|Setup|Controllers. Find the line with the Insteon controller and change it's type from "Insteon DM" to something else. Then change it back to "Insteon DM". Next click the "Setting" button. In the window that appears, set the Poll Interval and other settings as desired. Click the "Done" button. Before exiting, click the "Settings" button again and verify that the changes you made have "stuck". Click "Done" and close the PowerHome Explorer window. Open the Insteon Explorer and you should see the settings you previously selected.

Let me know if this doesnt fix it.

Dave.
