I am still having problems with my insteon KPL. It functions correctly but If I go to the KPL screen then it does not show up. I have tried to reverify devices and it still didnt show up in the screen. BUT it does function from PH.

ALSO:

PH sees my control link as x10 communications and not as insteon. Anyone have experance or problems with these?

Todd,

Open the Insteon Explorer and go to the "Types" tab. Find all the lines that KeypadLinc lines and make sure that there is a check in the "KeypadLinc" column. Save / Refresh the changes and close / reopen the Insteon Explorer. Your KPL's should now show on the KPL Config tab.

If your ControLinc is sending X10 commands, then it will probably be easiest to perform a factory reset on it (check the SmartHome docs). After the factory reset, then use the "Rebuild" option on the "Links" tab to reprogram the links back into the ControLinc.

You can remove the X10 commands using some manual key presses on the ControLinc (check the SmartHome docs again), but the factory reset, would be cleaner.

PowerHome does not setup or remove X10 codes on the ControLinc but will see and respond to them if the ControLinc is programed to use them.

Dave.

I'm having the same problem. All of the KPLs are checked in the Types tab. I can control the KPL with the manual control in PH, so they are communicating.
