The biggest annual US Home Automation show is coming soon.
http://www.ehxweb.com/
Free registration for the Expo, Thursday-Saturday, is available until 02/09/2007.
Dave, are you exhibiting with SmartHome again? Are any other PH users going to be there? We might try to get a group together for dinner one night. We will probably be using the AutomatedOutlet.com booth as somewhat of a meeting place.

Wayne,
Don't think Im exhibiting this year (especially since SmartHome hasnt asked me yet ). Im sure they'll have some booth but I don't know if they are doing anything with their partners this year around.
Im definately going to be there though and look forward to whatever dinner plans get setup. It would be great if we could get together a decent size group.
Tony, I KNOW you're going to be there this year arent you? .
Dave.

That would be nice, but there's too much going on at work.

SmartHome is hard to predict what they will do with their booth. They had a nice partner demo booth at EHX Spring 2006, but at EHX Fall 2006 it was a fairly boring SmartHomePro booth with very little Insteon emphasis. CES Spring 2007 sounds like an Insteon partner based booth. But if they haven't asked you, I would suspect that they are not featuring Insteon partners. How far in advance did they ask you to show at CES?

Wayne,
Im trying to remember...I think they asked me to do CES sometime around September or October...a fair amount of time.
However, EHX March 2006 was only about a months notice. It was pretty rushed for me. For EHX this year, I guess we'll just have to see.
Tony,
I cant believe you...you've got plenty of time to straighten managment out and tell them you're taking off or quitting, their choice .
Dave.

Well, it appears that SmartHome has thrown us a curve ball and canceled their booth totally for EHX this time. So it appears that there will be no new Insteon product announcements and no chance to talk to folks in the booth. I understand that some folks from SmartHome/SmartLabs are at the show, but they are "homeless".
