Dave,

How about remembering window locations from session to session?

Thanks,
Tony

Tony,

Could you be a little more specific? All windows including sizes and locations, specific windows, etc. PowerHome allows you to have multiple instances of certain windows open at the same time such as the PowerHome Explorer, Disc Report, Event Log and only one instance of other windows such as the Control Center and X-10 Status. Also, how would you envision the best way to save said settings...a save button that the user clicks and saves the environment as it stands, open windows, size and location, or everytime a window is opened and moved / resized, save the setting.

Dave.

Dave,

Sorry! From my experience, I noticed that I always end up arranging the windows a certain way each time I go in. How about an option to "save currently open window positions and sizes"? Or, simply saving info on what is open upon exit?

Thanks,
Tony

Tony,

Should be able to add it no problem...it wont make the next release as its nearly finished, but will add to the next one. Which windows do you usually have up on PowerHome?

Dave.

Usually Explorer, status, and control center.

You are way too accommodating! That's it, I'm registering right now!

Thanks,
Tony

I know, I know, Im still wanting to implement a way so that PowerHome when restarted will reopen to a specific state with various windows and their positions remembered. So we'll just say it's partially implemented

Im glad that the minimize and restore at least makes it a little better for you. It just made it in as an accident because I had to rewrite the whole routines on Window sizing because of the changes concerning the toolbars so I just got lucky on this one
