I'd like to have a box pop up with code in the "Send Keys/TTS/Dim/Formula" displayed as the cursor passes over each line of the macro.

I would also suggest allowing the columns in the explorer to be resized.

Good suggestion Tony. I second that.

Done.

The next version allows you to enable a popup on the toolbar so that as you mouse over the Send Keys field you'll get a popup showing the entire text.

I would also like to enable resizing of the columns.  Ive been working on it but havent achieved anything that Im happy with.  The thing that complicates it is especially the macrodetail screen because there are a number of columns stacked upon one another with some that are hidden and they are visible or invisible based upon other selections.  I'll keep working though and see what I can come up with.

Dave.

Hmm. When will the popup go away? When you move away from the Send Keys field? Could you click into it and edit?

Pat,

I could probably put together a beta version, but it might be more trouble for the tester than its worth.  The database usually need modifications with each version and making a database upgrade util for both the release and beta would be too much trouble.

If there is still interest, I could put together a beta, but the tester would need to email me their database so I could manually set it up for the beta.  Afterwards when the release version is done, then they would have to email the database again for a manual conversion to the release version.

I would probably have to limit this testing to only a couple of testers because of the time involved in the database conversions.  I assume you and Tony would be interested?

Dave.

Tony,

Im not quite sure what the functionality will be yet.  Im currently playing with it and Im not too happy with the current functionality.  There is an extra button on the Explorer toolbar which enables or disables pop-ups.  When the pop-up is enabled, you'll get a window which displays the full text when you mouse-over the Send Keys field.  The popup goes away when you mouse out.  You can't edit it either.

In actual use, it doesn't quite work the way I want.  When I mouse over a Send Keys field, the popup appears and obstructs 1 or more Send Keys fields below.  Since the popup has focus, I can't mouse over the Send Keys below the popup and have to mouse out of the current send keys so I can see the send keys below.

Im still playing with it though so will let you know how it ends up.

Dave.
