Dave,

I have a Creative Lab's Live Drive that is installed in my pc.  It comes with an IR  remote control,  is there any way to integrate it into PowerHome.

I'd like for it to intercept IR signals from my other remotes for use as triggers.

I don't think this one is going to be possible.  The little bit of information I was able to turn up on this appears that the protocol is non-published.  I could find a couple of third party programs which allowed you to create custom key maps for the remote center but it appears that Creative keeps that even that info pretty tight.

With the help of the third party programs, you could create a key map file which would send keystrokes to PowerHome.  These keystrokes could be mapped to the user-defined menu keys for directly launching macros.  While not specifically a "trigger", you could then have the macro perform your intended actions.

I'll see what I can dig up.

Creative is not tight on information.  They are poor on support and documentation.

The Creative IR and my ONKYO have the same IR command.  I called the Creative Tech support and their response was "put a peice of tape over the IR sensor on the ONKYO ;)

I can run other software with the Live Drive.  I just need to create a program that will trigger Powerhome.

I'll see if I can find out anything more.

When you say that other software is run with the Live Drive, are you referring to keystrokes being sent to those applications?

Let me know if find anything additional out.
