I'd like to have an in-wall (that is mounted so it can't 
 leave) touch screen device.
 
 In my ideal world, when it's idle it would display a few 
 days of weather information, maybe a slide show of 
 pictures.  When touched it would give me full control of 
 lights (and ideally my whole home audio (squeezeserver), 
 which PH can already control, also can be controlled by 
 Socket and HTML commands)
 
 What's important to me is response time.  I don't really 
 think that a web browser version is really going to run 
 the way I want.  If it's windows based I'd probably make 
 a custom .net application for it and I'm pretty sure 
 that's plenty fast, but seems like then I've got some 
 serious coin into it.
 
 It seems to me that this would be a killer application 
 and it's a little surprising that such a device doesn't 
 already exist.
