All,
I am running an older version of PH (2.1b) because I am also running PH on Linux Wine (Ubuntu 14.04). Works GREAT !!! I have moved from X10 to Insteon in the last few months (end of a 30+ year X10 saga). But since I do not have the latest version of PH - I do not have access the Insteon Extended messages. I needed this so I created (with Dave's help a Insteon Exteneded message macro using the ph_ctlrcmd. This is also working great. When I send ext Insteon messages that just turn things on and off all is well. BUT - I have the new 2441TH thermostat - and I need to READ extended message responses. I can send the ext message with my macro, and I can see the data responding correctly in the Insteon explorer ("2017-06-01 14:14:46.351 RX RECEIVEINSTEONEXT=3D 66 1D 43 70 A6 11 2E 00 00 01 01 10 51 43 01 00 0A"). I am interested in the HEX 51 (Current COOL setpoint) and HEX 43 (Current HEAT setpoint) in this response. BUT I do not know where this data is actually going. I can see it on the screen, but I do not know how to access the message so I can parse out the data I need. I know I am probably missing something stupid.....
Thanks
Kevin K.
