Sorry for the long delayed response. I suppose an RR501 would work. I use several at Christmas to turn on seasonal tree lights with the Firecracker, and they are much further away. I am not 100% certain, but I am pretty sure that the lack of the ground plug makes no difference with the RR501. In fact, I have my 2413S plugged into the Insteon/X10 wall plate via a three in one plug which isn't grounded either. You should be fine. Good luck, Richard.

No prob, understood - my time is always too scarce. Thanks for posting the confirmations. I will check it out and look to set it up. It's been better behaved lately but not without some issues...
