My apologies. I totally scanned over your reply regarding that issue.  I did do a search on "fast on syntax error" and did not get any hits.
Nothing like discovering the same issue 15 times.

Im glad the Insteon error was mentioned however because I had completely missed (or forgotten) the original message where it was discovered.
Anyways, I did go about fixing it today and found that this error can also occur on the Insteon Group, Insteon Raw Group, UPB, and UPB Link. On any of these commands where the "Send Keys" field is grayed out, you will get the syntax error.
In any event, its fixed now (the next beta) so don't feel bad about bringing it up again because if it hadnt of been brought up in this thread I would have completely missed it.

Tom, no problem at all. You can find some of the other posts by searching for Insteon syntax error. Be sure to specify All Forums for the search. May have to go down through the various posts in any given topic. I have not tried every command but the common theme is those commands that do not use a Send Keys field value produce the false syntax message. I suspect the Send Keys field value is being validated for commands which do not allow that field to be set. So far for all the cases that have been reported, the actual Insteon command worked okay.
Dave, say it isn't so. You never forget, just temporarily distracted.

Hi Dave - any chance of just a "cleanup" release rather than a new beta (i.e., fixes but no new features), and then go on to the beta release for the more daring among us?
(but only if it's easy 8-])
