hmmm - I didn't think I had to worry about daily re-initing - but if it will help stability i'll do it - how do I do this?

You can use File>Reinitialize manually.
I use ph_reinitialize ( ) as a timed event.

I don't ever do this now with .12 -- I'd say don't do anything unless you're seeing issues, then add them in if necessary.
